Leapmotor: Driver Assistance Services

This project aimed to define the best way to present Leapmotor's advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), highlighting their real benefits, reliability, and strategic role in safety and purchase decisions.

The need for this study arises in a context of growing public interest in vehicle safety technologies, especially among consumers of electric vehicles and the premium segment. Although ADAS (Automatic Vehicle Safety Systems) is a relevant factor in choice, it has been identified that many drivers do not fully understand how it works, which generates distrust, underutilization, or even deactivation of the systems. At the same time, leading brands are able to differentiate themselves by educating the consumer, demonstrating practical value, and building an emotional narrative centered on protecting life.

To address this scenario, a study was conducted based on desk research, analysis of materials from the automaker, benchmarking with competitors in Brazil and the global market, as well as collaborative ideation sessions with Merkle's departments. The objective was to map consumer expectations, best communication practices, the most effective content formats, and opportunities for differentiation for Leapmotor.

The main results of the study indicate that:

  • ADAS systems directly influence the purchase decision;

  • Active safety features, automatic braking, blind spot monitoring, and collision alerts are among the most valued features;

  • Lack of education and clarity reduces trust and the effective use of systems;

  • Immersive visual content facilitates understanding and increases the perceived value;

  • Certifications, such as Euro NCAP, strengthen brand credibility and authority;

  • Narratives centered on protecting the family create a stronger emotional connection.

A partir desses achados, foram definidas recomendações estratégicas que incluem educar o público de forma simples e acessível, demonstrar o valor prático do ADAS por meio de recursos visuais, organizar funcionalidades por afinidade, reforçar a credibilidade com dados e certificações reconhecidas e conectar emocionalmente a tecnologia à preservação da vida.

Como proposta, recomenda-se a criação de uma página dedicada ao sistema ADAS da Leapmotor, estruturada para apresentar uma visão geral da tecnologia, reforçar a expertise da marca em segurança, agrupar funcionalidades por categorias claras e demonstrar, de forma didática e imersiva, como os sistemas atuam no dia a dia do motorista. A experiência se encerra com o direcionamento para os modelos do portfólio, apoiando o fluxo de conversão.

Em conclusão, o estudo demonstra que o ADAS da Leapmotor deve ser comunicado não apenas como tecnologia embarcada, mas como um investimento em segurança, confiança e cuidado com a vida. Ao traduzir sistemas complexos em benefícios claros, dados confiáveis e histórias de proteção real, a marca fortalece sua reputação, aumenta a adoção dos recursos e se posiciona de forma competitiva no mercado de veículos eletrificados.
